In the above post it says that this alternative outfits things is throwing some missing images error, will it be fine or should I download the fix too?

"Dreams of Desire Elite 1.0.3 (old version)" was the original run of the game. "Dreams of Desire Definitive Edition Elite 1.0 Patreon" has all of the content from the original run of the game with a new UI, new scenes and the Two side stories, Dreams of Desire Holiday and The Lost Memories, included in a single package. The two side stories are accessible from the main menu and are unlocked through gameplay.

The definitive edition also runs on a newer version of the Renpy engine, which breaks a few of the "elite" alternate costume scenes that were missed during the engine upgrade to support the Steamdeck (these errors were probably overlooked as they aren't included in steam release, which is just the definitive edition on here with the elite content removed).

The fix I've attached in my previous post above fixes those overlooked "elite version" errors in the Definitive edition on here.

As for the two incest patches, they are the exact same and contain just a single variable that toggles the uncensored content to on.

The Lain's Walkthrough Mod hasn't been updated for quite some time as Lain has been MIA since before the game was last updated. It no longer works with the steam version or the version on here as it hasn't been updated to work with the latest update to the game. There is a work around to get it to working by renaming two files included in it (see my posts in the mods thread) but note that it doesn't work with my alternate costumes fix from the previous post as they contain similar files. Also the walkthrough/gallery unlocker mod also doesn't work with the current version as it too hasn't been updated to work with the current version on here.

In short, download the Definitive Edition Elite v1.0 Patreon version (from Here), the Lewd Patcher patch (from

) and the fix from my last post (from Here) for a complete experience while using the old walkthrough (from Here), unfortunately no in-game walkthrough/gallery mod exists that is up to date and works ATM, that is without doing additional modifications to them.

Edit: I've updated the fix to include some missed errors. I've also updated the download link in this post. Download this newer fix and overwrite the older one.

Sorry for the late reply, but when I first saw your post, I did not have time to reply to it properly, and then I forgot about it... till now.

This diagram is included in the walkthrough of the game and sums up very nicely all the requirements for the different endings in the game.

Hello, does the incest patch work with a steam version of the game and his translation i want to play in FRENCH/ FRANCAIS, and the version of the game here is 1.0 Steam got the 1.0.3 before buying i want to know if we keep roomate landlady in other langage thank you :)

The patch does work with the steam version and should work with the French translation. The patch has just 1 variable in it that changes an existing variable to True. And in the games files is code that swaps the text for all languages the game supports when that variable is set to True.

I did that and got all chars in a positive state of mind. Still got Mom ending. Tracy left for whatever shit and Alice kinda went Silent with guilt or something and the mc still has friends with benefits relationship with Aunt. not sure if this is the one you are talking about.

Look at the diagram on this previous post of mine. If I remember the whole thing correctly (it's been a while since I last played the game), and I think I do, to get the harem ending, you want to go for the perfect end. So, according to the information provided there, which is accurate, you need Tracy to survive (which it's the only requirement for her to be in her positive state) and have the rest of the characters, including Marcus, also in their positive state. You have the conditions to make every character positive listed on the left column of the diagram.

If you fail to get the harem ending, then you've missed one or more conditions along the way. Believe me. I've been there before. For example, the last time I played the game, I failed to get the harem ending at first, and I was sure that I had done everything correctly to get it. But I did not actually. In my case, I thought I had chosen to watch the romantic movie with the mom of the MC, but in fact I had watched the porno. And that mis-step broke everything. You need to be careful to meet all the requirements with every character to get their positive state to achieve the harem ending.

Great game! Anywhere I can just watch all 7 endings?

Never mind scrappy's mod did the job. I have a question though, what do the apparitions offer MC for him to go the corrupted route?
